Multi-purpose compost – an update

Several people have now placed orders for bags of the Fertile Fibre multi-purpose compost, mentioned in the group’s last newsletter.

We need to reach the magic total of 55 bags to obtain the maximum discount – which cuts the price from £16 for a 60-litre bag to just £8 – and so far we have reached 27. The compost was No.1 in the Gardening Which? trials of multi-purpose compost last year and is manufactured near Hereford. It is available only from the firm direct.

The plan is to take orders over the next couple of months, place a bulk order in early March. Customers could then pick up their order by arrangement from Mick Dunstan’s home in Worcester.
