A visit to World's End Nursery and the delightful private garden of Kristina and Robin Pearce, specialist growers of an extensive range of hardy perennials, ornamental grasses and hardy ferns. They have collections of hosta, geum, liriope and thymus. The garden boasts more than 3,000 types of plant in three quarters of an acre which is laid out in a mixture of island beds and formal planting. During the summer months we are treated to an explosion of colour. Many of the plants grown in the garden are for sale at the nursery.
Kristina and Robin make pre-arranged visitors very welcome to their garden and are usually on hand to discuss any aspect of growing. We will meet at the nursery at 7p.m. Names and money will begin to be collected at the April meeting.
